Me: Table for one?

Steward: (with a perplexed look) Umm… Yes… sure mam… this way.

This is how 99.9% of my conversations start in a restaurant or a café. Rather, ‘Table for one’ has now become my intro line; and I totally love it!

Table For One is an everyday struggle of a woman to tell the world, it’s not that bad to live on your own. In fact, it’s better than anything else. I have grown to enjoy my own company while travelling, and this blog is a testimony for the same.

If you are here to read a story of a dashing female solo traveller, I’m sorry to disappoint you already. For these days, a female travelling solo is no big deal (and I’m extremely happy for this imperative change in our society).

I am writing only to share experiences.

Experiences that are not gender-biased. Experiences that are not restricted to a solo or a duet or a group traveller. Experiences that are hidden in the nooks and crannies of this big big world. Experiences that are waiting to be experienced by all kinds of humans. Experiences that share overwhelming human stories. Simple pure experiences.
